Supervisor Wheeler's fourth Town Hall Meeting this year will be at the Coarsegold Community Center on June 9th. Discussion topics include updates on Coarsegold area projects; discussion of general District 5 issues; and discussion of the Sierra National Forest's Motorized Travel Management Draft Environmental Impact Statement, which aims to close hundreds of miles of trails/roads to motorized vehicles. Time will also be set aside for the public to ask questions and voice concerns.

- "Old Stage Route" Narrated Bus Tour

Location: Coarsegold Historic Museum, 31899 Hwy 41
"The Old Stage Route" narrated bus tour. Leaves CG Historic Museum at 9 a.m. sharp, travels Rd 415 to Knowles with a stop at the Raymond Museum. Then follows Road 600, the stage road with stops at historic points. On to the Ahwahnee Park (old Sanitorium), them back on Hwys 49 and 41 through Coarsegold to the museum for an included lunch. $23 sent to CHS, PO Box 117, Coarsegold 93614 makes reservation.
