- Oakhurst Elks Fundraiser for Marine Corporal Chance Gaal

Location: Oakhurst Elks Lodge, 42484 Hwy. 41 at Bass Lake Road (Across from Mountain House), Oakhurst CA.
Our local Yosemite High School graduate, basketball player and Marine Corporal Chance Gaal was injured in Afghanistan in June. He lost both his legs and is now recovering in Palo Alto.
Our local community, including the Oakhurst and Madera Elks Lodges, VFW and Marine Corps League, are soliciting donations and funds at a fund raiser at the Oakhurst Elks Lodge. Please come. There will be plenty of food, raffles, a silent auction and entertainment. Proceeds will be donated to the Marine Corps Semper Fi Delis Fund in the name of Chance Gaal to help him and his family. Your donation will be tax deductible.
Thank you Chance. We are proud of you for being a brave Marine who stepped up to the duty call. May God restore and strengthen you. We salute you and commend you to His special care. There is a legion of people who care about you.

- Spring Fling at Yosemite South KOA

Welcoming Spring and everyone to meet the new owners of the KOA, Bill & Pam Warren and MaKayla, too!
Come join the fun, with kid and adult activities. Come and stay a minimum of 2 nights for total $75, and 2 nights in a tent $50.00. Come and have fun and enjoy a great time with your family—jump castles and hay rides, face painting, and lots of other activities. Cover charge for this event is $5.00 per person of which half goes to Kids Care Kamp. Come support this local event - this will be the 1st annual event of its kind at the KOA in Yosemite South KOA.
